Basketball Recap: Vinemont Takes a Loss

Vinemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holly Pond Broncos. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Holly Pond, they moved to 10-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vinemont will venture away from home to square off against Pennington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holly Pond, they will head out to take on Hanceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
