Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Mount Olive's Fourth in Last Five Outings

It's playoff time, and Mount Olive had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fair Lawn Cutters a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Marauders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mount Olive has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Fair Lawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

As of now, neither Mount Olive nor the Cutters have any future games scheduled.
