It was fun while it lasted, but Watsonville's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Thursday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aragon Dons. The loss was the Wildcatz's first of the season.

Esperanza ?Anza? Sigala made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Watsonville fell to 4-1. As for Aragon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watsonville will challenge Alisal at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aragon, they will take on St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
