Baseball Recap: Noble Sets Scoring Season-High Against Thornton Academy

Noble has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging three runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Thornton Academy Trojans by a score of 10-9. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Knights' highest-scoring contest to date.

Noble got a big performance out of Adam Dumont, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Roberts, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Noble is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Thornton Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-1 record this season.
