Softball Recap: Manitowoc Lutheran Takes a Loss

Manitowoc Lutheran made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Valders, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lancers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Manitowoc Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Valders, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Manitowoc Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against Hilbert on the 6th. As for Valders, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Brillion on the 6th.
