Basketball Game Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Napoleon Wildcats

The Ross Little Giants and the Napoleon Wildcats will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Ross is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Mansfield Senior.

Meanwhile, Napoleon fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Wauseon on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Indians since March 8, 2017.

Napoleon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ross, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Ross ended up a good deal behind Napoleon when the teams last played back in January, losing 73-58. Can Ross avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
