Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies Takes a Loss

Knowledge Academies was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-16 loss at the hands of the East Robertson Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against East Robertson this season, with their most recent loss being a 65-13 defeat last Friday.

Despite the loss, Knowledge Academies saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zerahiah Polk posted five points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nessiah Griffin-Washington, who had two points.

Knowledge Academies' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for East Robertson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Knowledge Academies didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-35 loss against Jo Byrns on the 24th. East Robertson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
