Riverview picks up fourth straight win on the road

Recap: Riverview Sharks vs. Chamberlain Storm

Make it eight blowout wins for the Riverview Sharks this season. They were the clear victor by a 46-20 margin over Chamberlain. Winning may never get old, but Riverview sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

It was another big night for Kayaunna Dean, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy McCormick, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Riverview's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Chamberlain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Riverview will head out on the road to face off against Gaither at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Joslyn Thornton and Dean. As for Chamberlain, they will face off against Leto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Leto is ranked 507th, while Chamberlain is ranked 530th).
