Basketball Recap: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Roosevelt Roughriders
Inglemoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 48-34 to the Roosevelt Roughriders. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Roughriders are ranked 12th).
Roosevelt was led to victory by Ellery Burke-Brown and Giselle Dollar. Burke-Brown dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Dollar posted 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. The dominant performance gave Burke-Brown a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Swanson, who scored no points in addition to 12 rebounds and three steals.
Inglemoor's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Roosevelt, their record is now 16-7.
