Fisher Leftwich Goes Supernova in North Surry Victory

Starting off the list is North Surry's Fisher Leftwich, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Leftwich picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two rushing scores. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

If the past is any indication, Leftwich could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Wilkes on Friday. Leftwich picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Blackhawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

East Surry picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Troy Watson. Watson was dynamite, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.

East Surry's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Watson's next game is against North Wilkes on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
