First Coast lost against Fletcher back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The First Coast Buccaneers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Fletcher Senators an easy 6-1 victory. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Daniil Perminov, who's now up to seven this season.

First Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Fletcher, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-2.

First Coast wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Yulee on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Fletcher and St. Johns Country Day will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Fletcher will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
