Soccer Recap: Milby Takes a Loss

Milby was the 3-1 winner over Sharpstown when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Milby Buffs fell just short of the Sharpstown Apollos by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Milby's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sharpstown, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milby will square off against Galena Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sharpstown, they will be playing at home against Spring Woods at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Sharpstown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
