Saugus waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Canyon Cowboys by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on March 3rd.

Saugus walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Saugus' victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saugus will take on rival Golden Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canyon is set to challenge their familiar foe Valencia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
