Volleyball Recap: South Lake Finds Home Court Redemption Against Umatilla

There's no place like home for South Lake, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Umatilla Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 19-25, 25-10.

Emily Caldwell paced South Lake's offense, picking up 21 kills. Caldwell got some help from Iris Trowbridge and her 19 assists. Brooklyn Holt controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Schnitz, who had 26 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Samantha Merrill, who had 21 digs.
