Softball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul and Marina squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but St. Paul had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Swordsmen have suffered since April 10th.

St. Paul now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Marina, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-13.

St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marina, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Yorba Linda on the 24th.
