Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

If St. Francis was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hibbing on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Saints took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Totino-Grace Eagles on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Fighting Saints in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Totino-Grace, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will take on Chisago Lakes Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Totino-Grace, they will host Park Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
