Football Game Preview: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. TERRA Environmental

The Hialeah Thoroughbreds will challenge TERRA Environmental at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Hialeah's defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so TERRA Environmental's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hialeah's offense might be in the hot seat on Monday considering what happened against Northwestern on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 26-0 to the Bulls, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Thoroughbreds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Bulls are ranked 56th).

Meanwhile, TERRA Environmental came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 7-0.

TERRA Environmental's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Hialeah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
