Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They blew past the Lebanon Yellowjackets, posting an 83-43 win. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 252nd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the victory, Hillcrest broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Lebanon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bolivar the next time they take the court. Lebanon will head out to face Bolivar at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Hillcrest will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
