            Softball Recap: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Lehi Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Spanish Fork lost to Lehi  back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Dons won by a  run and slipped past the Pioneers  7-6. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Dons.

 Paizley Boman tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  six earned runs off   eight  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Jade Romero was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Audrey Overturf, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Spanish Fork  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post two or more  home runs.
Spanish Fork's record is now 7-8. As for Lehi,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-5.
 Spanish Fork didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  10-1  win against North Sanpete on the 12th. As for Lehi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  4-3  loss against South Sevier on the 12th.
