Pleasant Grove won the last time they faced Lehi and things went their way on Friday too. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Vikings who were credited with the win. The Pleasant Grove Vikings got it done in the shootout by posting one goals to the Lehi Pioneers' zero. Given Pleasant Grove's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Lehi are ranked 42nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pleasant Grove's record is now 9-2. As for Lehi, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
