Island Coast put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Ida Baker Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 last Friday.

Island Coast got a great performance from Bobby Wilenius as he didn't allow a single earned run and only a hit over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Hawkins, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaac Lopez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Island Coast's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ida Baker, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Island Coast will face off against North Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Island Coast's pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so North Fort Myers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ida Baker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
