Football Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Bishop Kearney

Bishop Kearney won the last time they faced Red Jacket and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kings came out on top against Red Jacket by a score of 28-20. The win was all the more spectacular given the Kings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Red Jacket are ranked 33rd).

Bishop Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Red Jacket, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bishop Kearney will venture away from home to face off against Cardinal O'Hara at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Red Jacket, they will head out to take on South Seneca/Romulus on Friday.
