With a playoff win on the line, Smyrna rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took down the Conrad Science Red Wolves 74-57. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Smyrna's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games. As for Conrad Science, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles face off against the Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Smyrna has given up an average of 51.5 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Conrad Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
