Recap: Life Oak Cliff Lions vs. Village Tech Viper Squid
The Life Oak Cliff Lions waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Village Tech 50-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Life Oak Cliff also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Village Tech still got an impressive performance from Andrew May, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was SaintCharles Williams, who scored seven points along with three blocks.
Life Oak Cliff pushed their record up to 24-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Village Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.
Life Oak Cliff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Village Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Inspired Vision at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Village Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
