Winston Salem Christian Silver had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oak Hill Academy International Warriors by a score of 54-46. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 41st in North Carolina, while the Warriors are ranked 374th in Virginia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Winston Salem Christian Silver's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Oak Hill Academy International, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
