Football Recap: Faith Christian Lions vs. Out-of-Door Academy Thunder
Faith Christian had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 50-0 loss at the hands of the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder. The Lions lost against the Thunder in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-0 score last time.
As for Out-of-Door Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1. That looming 50-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.
It was another big night for Allen Clark, who rushed for 126 yards and two scores on only eight carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made three total tackles (1.0 for loss). Edouard Chaput was another key player, throwing for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
