Baseball Game Preview: Bolton Bulldogs vs. East Windsor Panthers

Bolton is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and East Windsor an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Bolton Bulldogs will be playing at home against the East Windsor Panthers at 3:45 p.m. The last three games Bolton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Bolton sidestepped East Hampton for a 2-1 win. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one run.

Logan Clark spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bolton is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-12 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for East Windsor's offense. They lost 17-0 to Rockville on Tuesday.

East Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bolton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.

Everything went Bolton's way against East Windsor in their previous meeting back in April, as Bolton made off with an 18-3 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
