Lawrence's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the North Andover Scarlet Knights 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted since May 1, 2024.

Lawrence took North Andover into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 20-25, 15-7.

Rithwik Minchala and Bernardo Oliveira certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Minchala had 12 digs, while Oliveira had seven digs and two aces.

With the victory, Lawrence broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7. As for North Andover, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Lawrence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lowell on the 30th. As for North Andover, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Innovation Academy on the 1st.
