Football Recap: Ida Skates Past Blissfield with Ease

Ida waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Blissfield Royals to the tune of 55-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bluestreaks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Royals are ranked 268th).

Ida's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Blissfield, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ida will take on rival Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blissfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Onsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
