It was a proper cat-fight when Los Angeles Leadership Academy took on Animo South Los Angeles on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy never let Animo South Los Angeles on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 26-24.

Allen Williams paced Los Angeles Leadership Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Williams got some help from Daniel Duarte and his 12 assists. Finally, Williams was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Animo South Los Angeles, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

As for Animo South Los Angeles, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Horace Mann UCLA Community on the 11th.
