Rhinelander kept up with Lakeland until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Thunderbirds blew past the Hodags 4-1. The result was nothing new for Lakeland, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory keeps Lakeland at an undefeated 10-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Rhinelander, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2.

Coincidentally, Lakeland and Rhinelander will both be playing Mosinee the next time they take the pitch. The Hodags will head out to face the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbirds will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
