Basketball Recap: GV Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

GV Christian won the last time they faced Adelson, and Samantha Charron did her part to make sure it happened again. The GV Christian Guardians simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Adelson 60-14 thanks in part to Charron, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The victory (which was GV Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 7-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Adelson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

GV Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-22 loss against Lake Mead Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Adelson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-9 defeat against Lincoln County on the 7th.
