Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Red Elephants vs. Johns Creek Gladiators

The Gainesville Red Elephants will take on the Johns Creek Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gainesville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Milton, who was ranked third at the time (Gainesville was ranked 20th). Gainesville fell 60-50 to Milton on Tuesday.

Johns Creek has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to Milton at home by a 69-52 margin on Thursday.

Johns Creek's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Gainesville, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.
