Volleyball Recap: Amory Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Smithville

Amory Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithville Seminoles on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The victory (which was Smithville's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Amory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Smithville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Nettleton on the 14th.
