Volleyball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Seven Lakes Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

Seven Lakes can attribute much of their success to Keira Do, who had 20 assists and five digs. Those 20 assists gave Do a new career-high.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Seven Lakes, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Memorial will take on St. Agnes Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seven Lakes, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oak Ridge on the 15th.
