Wayne Trace picks up fourth straight win on the road

The Wayne Trace Raiders won the last time they faced the Hicksville Aces, and things went their way on Thursday too. Wayne Trace walked away with a 41-33 victory over Hicksville. Given Wayne Trace's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Hicksville is ranked 711th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Aces players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was McKenna Baird, who scored seven points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Adams, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Wayne Trace pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hicksville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
