Volleyball Recap: Big Foot Takes a Loss

If Big Foot was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Harvard on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tomah Timberwolves on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Maddie Perkins paced Big Foot's offense, picking up three kills. Perkins really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. Riley Stankevitz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Big Foot's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tomah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Big Foot has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Brodhead on the 29th. As for Tomah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Baraboo on the 29th.
