Basketball Game Preview: Mission Valley Vikings vs. Cair Paravel Lions

The Mission Valley Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Cair Paravel Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mission Valley is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Mission Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to Madison.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cair Paravel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Maranatha Christian Academy 69-50 on Tuesday.

Mission Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Cair Paravel, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Mission Valley skirted past Cair Paravel 50-48 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Mission Valley repeat their success, or does Cair Paravel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
