Volleyball Game Preview: Strawn Greyhounds vs. Lingleville Cardinals + How To Watch

Strawn and Lingleville are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2017, but not for long. The Greyhounds will challenge the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Strawn is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Woodson just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Cowboys.

Strawn couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 21-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lingleville faced off against Gustine on Saturday. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since September 11th.

Strawn's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8-1. As for Lingleville, their win bumped their record up to 22-9.

Strawn couldn't quite get it done against Lingleville in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
