Prescott extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 12-4 in the process. They blew past the Flagstaff Eagles 14-5. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won ten matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Lucas Tobin was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Cruz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles.

Prescott always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

As for Flagstaff, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.7 runs allowed.

On Flagstaff's side, Christian Welker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Prescott by a score of 7-6 on Thursday.
