Volleyball Recap: Everglades Comes Up Short

Everglades was the 3-1 winner over Nova when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Wednesday.

While Everglades had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 24-26, 25-19.

Everglades' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Nova, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Everglades will challenge Franklin Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Nova and Taravella will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
