Soccer Game Preview: Bartram Trail vs. Stanton

The Bartram Trail Bears will square off against the Stanton Blue Devils at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. Stanton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bartram Trail, who comes in off a win.

Bartram Trail will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Fleming Island on Tuesday. Bartram Trail was the clear victor by a 5-2 margin over Fleming Island. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Despite a strong season so far, Stanton has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Bishop Kenny on Tuesday, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Devils have lost by exactly four goals.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Bartram Trail, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-4.
