Metuchen was the 63-52 winner over Spotswood when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Metuchen Bulldogs took a 61-43 bruising from the Spotswood Chargers on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Metuchen still got an impressive performance from Cameron Hayes-Durina, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.

Metuchen's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Spotswood, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Metuchen has already played their next contest, a 58-41 victory against South River on the 24th. As for Spotswood, they will take on Kennedy Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
