Softball Recap: Delcastle Technical Comes Up Short

Delcastle Technical was the 25-7 winner over Newark when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 12-9 to the Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delcastle Technical's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Newark, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Delcastle Technical wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-10 loss against Mount Pleasant on the 24th. As for Newark, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-4 defeat against First State Military Academy on the 24th.
