After flying high against Colonial Christian last Monday, Marathon came back down to earth. The Marathon Dolphins fell just short of Lourdes Academy by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Dolphins' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sara Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marathon fell to 3-1. As for Lourdes Academy, their record is now 4-1.

Coming up, Marathon will be playing at home against Mater Bay Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Marathon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 20.2 runs per game this season. As for Lourdes Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Brendan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
