Volleyball Recap: Parkview Find Success

Parkview hadn't done well against Hustisford recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Despite the loss, Hustisford still got an impressive performance from Layla Thimm, who had 16 digs and three aces. Thimm is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaydence Muche, who had 11 digs and two assists.

The win got Parkview back to even at 3-3. As for Hustisford, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Parkview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gibraltar on the 30th. As for Hustisford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lourdes on the 30th.
