Putnam County entered their tilt with Newtown-Harris on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-2.

Putnam County pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Putnam County will venture away from home to take on Maysville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Midgets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newtown-Harris, they will welcome Princeton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
