Bristol-Plymouth RVT has gone a perfect 10-0 against Blue Hills RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Not much got past Gabrianna Arrighi, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Fontbonne Academy off the board. Arrighi has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bristol-Plymouth RVT saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taryn Geer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Blue Hills RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Diman RVT.
Kylie Harer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits.
At the plate, Jayden Craft made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Blue Hills RVT now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Blue Hills RVT's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Bristol-Plymouth RVT has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Blue Hills RVT, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Bristol-Plymouth RVT keep running through batters, or will the Warriors buck the trend?
