Basketball Recap: Weatherford Picks Up 15th Consecutive Win

Weatherford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Cache Bulldogs 67-22. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Weatherford's 15th in a row) raised their record to 25-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for Cache, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Looking ahead, Weatherford will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodward at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Weatherford is on a 21-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Woodward a ten-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Cache does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
