Volleyball Recap: Brookfield East Beats Greendale for Their Third Straight Win

Brookfield East waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Greendale Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2020.

Brookfield East's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amorina Compean-Costello led the charge by getting 15 digs and four assists. Compean-Costello has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Brookfield East's record now sits at 31-9. As for Greendale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-25.

Brookfield East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mukwonago on the 11th. As for Greendale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against West Bend East on the 11th.
